LVH Scoops Thailand Awards


Thailand’s leading villa management and rental agency, Luxury Villas and Homes Ltd (LVH), was honoured recently at the 2013 Thailand Property Awards (TPA), receiving several accolades in recognition of its many achievements.

LVH was given three awards this year, claiming the Best Villa Rental Agency (Thailand) accolade and achieving HIghly Commended for Best Property Management Company (Resort). The company's real estate division, Exclusive Properties Samui, also claimed the prize for Best Residential Agent (Samui).

First held in 2006, the Thailand Property Awards celebrate the “best of the best” in Thailand’s real estate sector. The awards aim to promote the high level of quality in construction, architecture, interior design and real estate services across the country. The judging process is overseen by an independent organisation, BDO Advisory, and Luxury Villas and Homes was selected as a winner from a large number of entries in each of the categories.

On choosing LVH, the awards judges commented that the company has "evolved and advanced to a higher level of quality" as Thailand’s villa rental market transitions further into the hospitality sector. Indeed, when Managing Director John Birt first launched what began as Samui Villas and Homes in 2001, the market for private villa rentals was still in its infancy. The firm has now become a serious enterprise with some 350 Thai staff and 9 expats and continues to grow every year.

“Winning the inaugural Best Villa Rental Agency award was a very special outcome for LVH at this year’s ceremony and I would personally like to thank both our teams on Koh Samui and Phuket for their first class efforts,” said Andrew Craig, Group Chief Operating Officer. “Taking home the silverware for the Best Agent Samui for a fourth time is also a great achievement,” he added.
