Renting Koh Samui

Well established as one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand, Koh Samui is rich in beauty with all its white sandy beaches and green mountainous topography, yet also sophisticated in its offerings of world class accommodation and entertainment choices.

Location is everything

The coastline is in some places framed with powdery beaches, in others with dramatic rock formations, while the inland is characterised by hilly jungle dotted with waterfalls and elevated viewpoints. The most densely populated areas are those around Chaweng on the east coast of the island, Bophut and Maenam in the north and Lamai on the southeastern coast. Nathon on the west side of the island is the main port and commercial centre for the locals, where most of the ferries from the mainland and neighbouring islands arrive and depart.

Maturing gracefully

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, close to the mainland and served by Koh Samui International Airport, which connects the island to Bangkok and other regional cities several times a day, Koh Samui is easily accessible for locals, tourists and expats living in Asia.

Traditionally a very hotel and resort dominated island, the maturing of the tourism industry has seen a shift in the choice of accommodation on offer to serve the many visitors to the island.
