For such a small island, Boracay offers a surprisingly diverse range of nightlife choices. Visitors can enjoy everything from classical piano and guitar recitals during dinner to live performances by renowned local bands and beach parties where revelers can literally dance on the sand. White Beach is the main nightlife centre with a good choice of all night venues and entertainment spots. But its possible to enjoy good music almost every night somewhere on the Island and the bigger parties and concerts often roll into the following day. beach bars range from simple huts to resort based clubs and stand alone venues, so there's something to suit every taste.
Boracay's biggest nightclubs feature large dance floors and a stage for live performances. They sometimes host well known stars from from Manila, attracting a young local crowd. Other bars offer billiard tables and easy chairs for lazy nights drinking with friends close to the beach. Live shows are something of a trademark in the Philippines, whether ethnic and cultural dance shows, professional cover bands playing well known hits or live singing and dancing contests to get the crowd going before the all night rave takes over.
